Global Services (GS) is an autonomous global business unit within Nielsen, focusing on international (harmonised) reporting for international oriented FMCG manufacturers, retailers. The Global Services Netherlands Sales office is looking for a student with a proactive and enthusiastic attitude to support the team in various activities for minimum three to maximum six months period. The trainee will report to Dave van der Meer, Global Services Director Benelux Nordics and will be based in our Nielsen office in Diemen.

Task description

• Support the ISC and Sales Team in cross-country data requests coordination
• Support the Sales Team in preparing reports, analyses and presentations for the clients
• Provide support on New Business Development (Prospecting activities)

Qualifications

• HBO student looking for internship (Commercial Business School Study)
• Student’s goal is to gain work experience and gain knowledge on commercial activities
• Fluently speaking / writing in Dutch and English language
• Good PC skills (MS Office; Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Interested in working in an international environment
• Sales driven, Eager to learn
• Client focused and committed
• Excellent analytical skills
• NL Work Permit required

Duration  

• Minimum 3 to maximum 6 months, internship is available starting Aug-Sep-Oct 2008.
